Going Red For Charity!

The Children's Heart Surgery Fund is a local charity based out of Leeds General Infirmary. They provide specialist support and care for children who require open heart surgery, as well as their families. The CHSF's incredible work ensures that these children not only have the best possible chance of survival but also the best quality of life during the time in their care. Their work covers everything from providing WiFi and entertainment in the wards, maintaining bedrooms and facilities for families, as well as providing vital equipment and training. Every year, they encourage office workers, healthcare staff, and just about everyone else to dress up in red for one day (usually at the start of February) to try and raise as much money as possible for the cause.

So, after a swift email around the office, Friday morning saw the ICS-digital team rock up in a vast array of rouge, maroon, and claret, from baggy jumpers to questionable props and even a signed picture of Marouane Fellaini. We managed to raise a grand total of £79, which will help to support the Children's Heart Surgery Fund's important work.
