Vendor Relations Manager

As a Vendor Relations Manager, you'll work across a variety of exciting service lines and industries, engaging with freelance talent to ensure excellent utilisation and driving our commitment to be a trusted partner for global talent.

The role:

  • Permanent, full-time
  • Salary: £27,500 - £32,500
  • Hybrid-working
  • Percentage split: Vendor relations (40%), vendor utilisation (40%), resource planning support (20%)
  • Continuously evaluate and improve vendor management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Work with Senior Service Managers to evaluate output and quality of existing vendors
  • Act as a key point of contact for vendor queries and operational support
  • Monitor and manage vendor utilisation rates, addressing issues to improve overall engagement
  • Liaise with Service Specialists and Global Resource Manager to respond to vendor suitability queries from the team
  • Work closely with the Global Resource Manager to create resource plans for new work

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Linguistics, Translation Studies, or a related field
  • Proven vendor management experience
  • Strong understanding of the translation and content creation process
  • Proven problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative approach - able to influence, drive ideas and and address issues effectively
  • Results-orientated and impeccable attention to detail
